CYE Season TOO SHORT

I love Curb Your Enthusiasm and I have been wondering why on HBO that there shows have such short seasons only 10 episodes when regular network show seasons are 13 I wish CYE had more new episodes because its so friggin funny Please respond Thanks

Umm regular network seasons are actually 20-24 episodes not 13.

On a Network show after the pilot is picked up the show is run for 13 weeks to see if it draws good ratings and response from the viewers,advertisers,etc., and If it is sucessful the first 13 weeks the Network will usually give it the full season usually 20,24,or 26 weeks in most cases

Besides the amount that normal sitcoms get.....the reason that CYE only has 10 is because Larry David wants it that way.....for evidence of this visit hbo.com (http://www.hbo.com) and go to the F.A.Q. section.

Larry gets what Larry wants. They need more members of the cast in the phote here. Unless Larry kicked everyone else off and its just him now.

I heard Larry and the Gang interviewed last January after they won that award. They commented that although the 4th season wasn't going to be airing for quite some time, it would be worth the wait because they are planning on taping 45 episodes!!! I know that doesn't sound right, but that is what they said...I heard it myself!
