Looking for LITB Bridal Shower Ideas

My son... a.k.a. "Ward"... is going to marry his sweetheart "June" this coming May. Since they both aspire to live their lives based on the "Cleaver principal"... I thought it'd be a perfect theme for the bridal shower. If you have any ideas/suggestions to bring this party theme alive, I'd sure appreciate the help.

You could give out faux pearl necklaces as party favors. Also, you might ask the ladies to wear white gloves like June does or else give them out.

I cant' believe this was brought up! This sounds just like something I heard about while getting my hair done about a recently. The lady beside me was having her hair done like June. The guy doing her hair was like why in the world do I have to fix your hair like this? And so, being the LITB nut I am, I eavesdropped. She said a friend of hers was getting married and her sister always called her and her fiance "Ward and June" because they were so perfect. Well, her sister decided to give her a 50s June Cleaver themed shower! It was really elaborate. All guests had to come dressed in 50s style dresses and everything. They were getting their pearls at the party. I thought it was such a cute idea! Well I started talking to the lady while my highlights were "processing" or whatever and she told me all about it. Well she was nice enough to go out to her car when she was finished and show me her dress and everything! I wanted to go! But something like that would be cool. But at least the pearls as party favors like frani suggested! I think when I get married I want a 50s themed shower. How cool would that be?
