What does "sticky" mean? I see it in front of topics. How long does it last?

Sticky is when a moderator or TJ sticks a thread to the top of the board for members to see.


I make the new episodes thread sticky so fans will remember to watch it. Ratings have been bad for awhile. After the new episodes air TJ or I take the thread down. Does it make sense?
