where is the real gilligans island located

It was a hollywood back lot! There was no real Gilligans Island! It was just a set!

Hi I had heard that some scenes where filmed here on the channel Islands in California Don't know longitude latutude all I know is I can walk to the beach and see them. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif they are off the caost of California near Port Hueneme...Point Magu...Oxnard...Ventura area. Hope that helps. It was in my local paper a few years ago that some scenes were filmed there as well as some in Oxnard CA
