Richie left the show to do another show, it was cancelled after about 1 episode.

Kevin brought his brother in to play the part of Danny.

Larry Romano (Who played Richie.Any relation to Ray?) left The KOQ to star as Aldo in "Kristen" which aired on NBC in I believe 2000 and was cancelled after about 4 episodes.He was basically the love interest to Kristen played by Kristen Chenowith.
