Columbia TriStar wants your vote!
2/05/2003
They say that duplication is the sincerest form of flattery. I guess we here at TVShowsOnDVD feel flattered, then! It seems that Columbia likes what we're doing here, but wanted to set up something more "local" to their interests.
They have set up a TV Poll which lists 25 of their all-time classic series, and gives you the opportunity at the bottom to vote for any five of them you would like to see come out on DVD. They ask you to rank your choices, so they can tabulate overall preferences.
They also ask you to vote on whether you prefer "full season" sets, "best of" compilations of a single series, or "best of" compilations along a theme (i.e., "Best of 70's Cop Shows", which is an actual item Columbia intends to release this spring).
Many of the shows listed allow you to watch highlight clips, and choices range from as far back as "Father Knows Best" to as recent as "V.I.P." But not everyone's favorites are listed among the choices: "The Critic" is nowhere to be seen, nor can you ask for full-season sets of "Married...With Children" or "Charlies Angels". But take the poll in any case, and help Columbia plan ahead.
