Unfortunately TD did not get all my attention last night, as I was trying to piece together projects and a paper at the last minute. Procrastination is nice until the last minute, then it just flat out stinks. Anyway, I haven't had a chance to rewatch, but I thought I'd ramble about what I remember anyway, because I found this episode to be a really good one. Definately the best this season if ya ask me. Mr. Levine out did himself.
The case was intriguing and had a twist I did not expect. It was the first case in the longest time I didn't solve from witness one, which was REALLY nice. The entire auroa of it all reminded me of season one, minus Angela-thank goodness.
Captain Kate was present and doing her Captain thing. She blends nicely in every, single episode, which is just great really. The more I see of her, the more I like her.
Raina just fits right in with people. She's so comfortable with herself. The scenes with her going door to door were hilarious, and then she was so compassionate with that young girl who was gipped by her friend.
C.D. and the entire jerk thing was so funny. I gotta say though, she's changed over the past two season. She went to not dating anybody to where it seems like she's constantly dating. Maybe that's just me though. I guess she's become more secure in herself, and I can't help but think having a male partner has helped her in that area.
Nate was great as always. He and C.D. are great together, but they keep missing each other somewhere along the way. I'm happy he was nice to Lily and all, but why doesn't he suck up the courage and just ask C.D. out?! Or maybe that question of dinner was an attempt at a date? Guess we'll never know since they keep missing each other. C.D. looked kinda sad/shocked when she heard Magda say that about taking Lily for coffee, then voila...she goes off and dates the jerk again, leaving Nate looking sad. Those two just confuse me and really get to me. It's obviously there, they just don't see it!
Magda was the Magda of season one. I loved seeing it! She was all at Jinny and all tough and everything. She was the Magda who I liked 2 years ago, not the always sad one who seemed to...well, who just wasn't in the best of moods.
Jinny...I could write a book on her just after these past four episodes. She is the Jinny of the first season, just even more depressed. Jack sees it, he just hasn't recognized what it is yet. At least he's trying though. Just the entire aspect of everything going on in Jinny's life is crazy. As far as we know she hasn't seen her dad who almost dad, so it's like she is now minus two parents. I'm going to spare everyone the book, cause I have another paper to write, but might I just say I hope the upcoming episode that takes place near the 8th mentions the suicide. Actually, I hope Cap mentions it. She would be the one to know, since she has everything on file. I just think there is something there between the two of them and I love their scenes together. I think a Jin/Cap moment, considering the fact Cap is older than Jinny-kinda like a mom, would be fitting. I can so see it!
Also, I wonder how Jack will find out about her mom. He's clueless now, but he'll have to find out sooner or later. It should be interesting. I think she really wants to tell him, but that she is afraid of his reaction.
I'm going to shut up about Jinny though before I get going. I gotta get off now. It's shorter than usual, which is probably a good thing for a lot of yall, but whateva...
until the next new episode...
