I always like when something changes, like when a network change their bug/logo, well The View is getting a new set:
''IT’S A WHOLE NEW YEAR AND A SPECTACULAR NEW VIEW”
ABC Daytime’s “The View” to Unveil a New Set on March 3
ABC Daytime’s popular talk and entertainment program, “The View,” will undergo major construction this month in preparation for a new set to be unveiled on air March 3. The announcement
was made this morning on “The View.”
While the show is filming on location in Los Angeles (Feb. 17-26), show designer Bill Mickley and his team will be working diligently on the installation process and applying the finishing touches.
The new look, a collaborative effort between Mickley and noted Los Angeles-based designer Rene Lagler, has been described as a move from the show’s current downtown loft to an uptown brownstone.
The new furnishings, which enhance a warm, inviting conversational setting, will be provided courtesy of Ethan Allen, Inc.
Beginning today and continuing until “The View” departs for Los Angeles, a different portion of the set will be dismantled and removed from the stage. On Friday, Feb. 14, one final “signature” item will be taken away.
March 3 also marks the launch of a new website for “The View”
(http://www.abc.go.com/theview) to coincide with the show’s new appearance.
Barbara Walters, Meredith Vieira, Star Jones and Joy Behar are the dynamic team of women who share their daily, no-holds-barred opinions and colorful conversations. The unmatched chemistry of the four co-hosts is the original forum where real women discuss relevant, everyday issues.
“The View,” ABC Daytime’s morning chatfest, features a team of four dynamic women of different ages, experiences and backgrounds discussing the most exciting events of the day.
