I hate those. Once, my cousin locked herself in her room and came out and had it all done and my mom thought she was a genius (she was like 10 at the time) but she foundout that she peeled off all the stickers and put em on the cubes.

I know one person who honestly finished the Rubick's cube once. I can get one side done but that's it. They frustruate me.

I peeled the stickers off and put them back on like I'd solved it and showed my math teacher and she believed me. What a moron

Boy, what a big deal that toy was when it came out. Everyone in school had one.

Ya know, if you smash one corner with a meat tenderizer, you can break those darn things apart!
Then you just reassemble the pieces so the sides match.

Mine didn't come with instructions, is that how you were supposed to solve it?

;)

Sounds like a better way to do it than the way you're supposed to! :)

I've never actually solved a Rubix Cube (although I have come close) but they definately don't suck!
I have one in my room. I have various pieces of crap from the 1980's in my room. I've got an old Nintendo and one of those dancing flower things aswell!

Really? Cool!
I got my dancing flower for Christmas in 1988. I don't think I have seen any in the shops since 1990!

Oh, I used to play with those when I was a teen. I still have a few, somewhere, in different styles. I admit that I do also have a book of instructions. I'd need it now. But I had gotten pretty good at solving the thing without looking at the instructions way back when.

Mine came with a book on how to solve it.
I think I still have the book. I wonder if the book and cube together are worth something. I've heard of collectors who pay big money for stuff like that.

Hate to break your heart Mossopp, but since millions of Rubics Cubes (and tons of knockoffs) were produced, it is ulikely they will be of any value.
If it's unopened and in mint condition, then maybe it could be worth something.
