Which episodes do you like the best? The ones with or without Richie? And Why?

In my opinion, I like the ones with Richie the best because they just seem more funny.

With Richie Happy Days was the greatest sitcom of all time, but without him it was second class.

Fonzie was my favorite Happy Days character, but he didnt work the same without richie. The Fonz-Richie relationship made the show as great as it was.

Yeah I agree, I certainly like the ritchie eps better especially since the fonz character really changed after that I thought. Although I must admit I have not seen many of the later eps due to N@N's crappy scheduling but from what I've seen I'd say definately Richie eps.

I like the ones without Richie best. Not because I don't like Richie, but because I like Chachi, and we got to see a lot more of him after Richie left. I do enjoy watching them all though except that season when Chachi and Joanie were gone as well as Richie. That really sucked.

The show was better with Richie because without him is sank like the Titanic. The only eps I ever watch are the Richie eps The 80s eps are so corny and stupid they make me wanna vomit

I like Richie & Fonzie together. My favorite episodes have Pinky Tuscadero and Leather Tuscadero. LOL

I liked the one called "the mechanic" in which a fellow in a wheelchair causes no end of trouble for Fonzie, though he later learns about love & honesty from the Cunningham family. By the way he was played by real life quadroplegic Jim Knaub. I saw a photo of him winning the handicapped version of the Boston Marathon. I assume they're the same person!

While I really like Richie, and the relationship he had with Fonzie...I'd have to say that my favorite episodes to watch are the ones right after Richie left. (When Joanie's hair was sort of long.) I liked them because it gave Joanie's character more of a chance to develop into something more than just the kid sister who always needed rescuing. That aside, my favorite episode is "Welcome Home" in which Richie and Ralph return from the army. Which sort of defeats my point. Oh well. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Its hard to sya, I like thed the later years because to me it seemed like Chachi , JOanie, Potsie, Roger, Jenny Mr. and Mrs. C. were like a big family, if you realyl watch those , ubut i like the Richie years because my favorite charcter is Ralph ,b esides what's Hapyp Days without Richie, Potsie, Ralph and the Fonz!!

the ones with Ritchie were definately better, because they were part of a big period of my life, the 50s & early 60s. Also, I identified so well with Ritchie because I have had similar setbacks with the opposite sex. Unfortunately I never had a Fonz to help me along. Plus, I had a rather conservative Baptist church background which forbade anything fun, especially dancing. I liked Roger & Chachi but feel that the later episodes were more geared toward situations, rather than subjects from the past. Like remember the one about the bomb shelter Howard tried to build? How many people from that period actually built one? Though we must have thought about it.
