I can't believe that Miller Lite hasactually put a commercial on TV with two girls wrestling in their bikini's. Should children be seeing this? This commercial is also show on non-cable networks such as ABC, CBS and NBC. What are your thoughts on this wacked out commercial?

Well it's mainly shown during football games because they know men are watching the game. It will be shown probably all during the Superbowl.

I haven't seen it either. From the way you described it, it does sound pretty bad. They'll put anything on tv now days. Sex = Sales
Edit: Chicks in bikinis = Sales

I don't like it but my dad laughs at it every single time. One of my parent's friends is writing to the company or something and complaining about the commercial.

That's true-the old saying-Pretty women make men buy beer and ugly women make men DRINK beer which is why most women who are not attractive market tennis rackets-LOL

Hmmm... lets see good looking girls in Bikinis plus Beer plus the superbowl = alot of guys expecialy young guys (around drinking age) watching the game ,they must think it will be a good marketing Idea, but I agree its not good for young kids . I don't really care for commercials any expecially this particular one and I don't like beer anyway (never had it and never will), when a commercial comes on thats when its time to go to the fridge or the bathroom.

I've never seen the commercial you speak of, although I find the idea of 2 ladies in bikini's to be rather favourable.......
Sorry - I shouldn't have said that. I'm a very naughty Mossopp *gives own hand a slap* I shall behave now. :D
No, like I said I haven't seen it. Is it on all day? Over here in the UK, adverts like the one you mention are only shown after 9pm. You can put anything on British TV as long as it's after 9pm - we're pretty liberal when it comes to stuff like that.

 My family was watching football the other weekend and the commercial came on and my 7 year old brother's eyes bugged out of his head and he looked at my dad and went, "That's not right."

I think the commercial is pretty funny. Is it appropriate for young children...No, but it is entertaining.

Hey let's face it, that commercial is marketed towards a male audience who buy beer. I don't like beer, but I'm not dead either. ;)
I haven't seen it but it sounds like it has a sense of humor about it. I figure if you can't have a sense of humor about that sort of thing then, well....hell. Go get a sandwich and let the rest of the family have a little fun. ;)

It's just too erotic for TV.

I think you're being a wee bit overdramatic. It's a beer commercial for Chrissakes! - how can a beer ad be "erotic"??
And how can anything be "too erotic for TV"? I admit that there is a time and a place - like I said, in the UK really explicit sex scenes are only shown after 10pm - but do you think we should have no sex on TV at all??!! C'mon, that's crazy talk!

I meant to say too erotic for regular TV like CBS, ABC, and NBC. Cable after 11pm is okay

Fair do's.
Over here there are slightly different rules for terrestrial TV (which is available to everyone) and cable/digital/satelite TV. For example, under no circumstances can you say the 'c-word' on terrestrial TV at any time, but you can say it as much as you want on cable/satelite after 10pm. You can do whatever the hell you want on cable/satalite after 10pm!
