-- "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" will run for 18 hours across 15 consecutive nights beginning Wednesday, February 19. The series features a group celebrities
- model Tyson Beckford;
sassy TV host “Downtown” Julie Brown;
former Olympic champion Bruce Jenner;
"Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous'" Robin Leach;
fashion critic-of-the-stars Melissa Rivers;
actress Alana Stewart (former wife of rocker Rod Stewart and actor George Hamilton);
and Howard Stern’s infamous radio cohort, Stuttering John
as well as an eighth member to be named at a later date -
all stranded on a tropical island and forced through all sorts of stunts in the name of winning money for charity. Viewers will participate in each episode in two ways: by voting which celebrity they want put through "dares" (all which presumably will paint them in a poor light) and which ones they want to continue on with the show. Standup comic/improv performer John Lehr will be the host.

The series begins its six-week run on February 13 where it will air Thursdays at 9:00/8:00c.
-- ABC also announced it is going forward with a series version of its popular reality special "Extreme Makeover." The series will take over the Thursday, 9:00/8:00c slot shortly after "Are You Hot" wraps on April 3. Like "Hot," the series has a six episode order.
