This just in: the San Francisco 49ers beat the New York Giants 39-38 after an ineligible receiver penalty wiped out a pass interference call and cost the Giants a chance to get ahead.

BTW, I was rooting for the 49ers.

It was an eligible reciever! The NFL admitted the referees blew the call. The Giants should've had another kick attempt.

Yeah, that call was bogus. That is the third controversial call in the last four NFL playoffs.

If you ask me, sorry isn't good enough. The Giants are not out of the playoffs because of that blown call. It'd be nice if the NFL would give the Giants an additional draft pick because of that.

I would have liked to see another attempt but who is to say that the end result wouldn't be the same. Our kicking game was the worst it could be.

You are right in saying the Giants were not elimated because of the blown call. They blew a 24 point lead (I may be wrong here, correct me if so) on their own.

You guys are right, the Giants DID blow a 24 point lead and there were no guarantees that they would've scored a field goal if they got a second chance. However, my beef is the refs blew a very vital call. The NFL admitted that. Now we will never know "What if..." The Giants should've at least had that opportunity.
