Well i have been saying it all week, GB has no defense and it showed today against Falcons. GB is do 27-7 and does not have enough time to come back. Well since Atlanta is the lowest seed, the are on thier way to philly to face Mcnabb and the Eagles. Vick versus Mcnabb should be entertaining.

I wanted Green Bay to win. They are one of my favorite teams, next to the Steelers. Oh well, here's to hoping that my home team wins today.

Even though I want the Steelers, this could very well happen, this has been the week of upsets with Ohio State taking the national championship and then Atlanta advancing over Green Bay.

Why do you think it's not an upset?

Because green bay has no defense, a bad QB, and no secondary. They are in a division with minnesota, detriot, and chicago. So this GB team was clearly overrated and needs a younger and mre accurate QB. Spo Atlanta IMO, was the better team.

how can you say brett farve is a bad quarterback ? his performance and the superbowl ring he wears speaks for itself. just because hes had a couple bad games dosent make him a bad qb.

Brett farve won the superbowl in 1996, it's 2003 so that was a different time and he is no longer a good QB. Brett farve has a interception problem. He throws too many of them.

I wouldn't want him being the quarterback of my team. Too unreliable for me. I just know he would be the type to throw a interception at the wrong time.-not that's it's a right time to throw a int. But Brett is no longer superbowl material.

always remember that on the road to the superbowl, the qb is the driver and a team needs a good driver behind the wheel. Brett is not a good driver

Yeah, I thought they were going to loose, but they pulled it off!
Sadly, I don't expect them to beat the Titans, though.

Brett Favre is a good QB anybody who says otherwise, obviously doesn't know anything about football...Solomon

I just want to know what teams SOLOMON likes?
Since he only posts AGAINST teams he doesn't.
Is it a case of just rooting against teams and picking the one he hates less, or does actually have a team?
In any sport?

If brett farve was a good QB he would have been going to tampa. Brett has his time, he is no longer A ELITE QB. THAT SPORTS. once you get older you are not the same.

Well being that GB was favored to win, technically it was an upset, it doesn't matter who appeared to be the better team at game time.
Yes, GB is in a crappy division but they still won 12 games, and deserved to win the division. But I have a feeling next year the division won't be so easy to win. (But of course this is coming from me, who is always optimistic when it comes to football and nothing else :D)

So since the Colts lost, that means that Peyton Manning isn't a good QB? If Michael Vick or Donovan McNabb lose next week, does that mean they aren't good either? That makes no sense.

Well it depends on the performance of the QB, Holcomb was not the reason Cleveland lost, Kerry Collins was not the reason the Giants lost but Peyton Manning and Brett favre had horribe performances and they were the reasons their team lost.

Favre lost Terry Glenn and Ahman Green two big contributors to his offense. Where would the Packers be without him this season. He's still an elite QB.

Brian your wasting your time trying to get your point off to an idiot. anyone that would make a statement as the great/good quarterbacks get older they lose thier talent should be watching rugby and c
commenting on that sport:rolleyes:
slayer: we need Tommy Gun to have another good performance and the defense to step it up and well be fine against the titans.

I for one hate Brett Farve, because I'm a Vikings fan as well as a steelers fan,but I will say Brett Farve is a good Quarterback. The packers had a lot of injuries this year, which hurt them and Brett Farve can't win all by himself he needs 10 (healthy) other guys out there with him for the packers to be sucsessful IMO.
