Hi y'all,
My husband and I were watching Superman (with Christopher Reeve) and we swore that the Army commander who offers to inspect a "fainted" Ms. Whats-Her-Name in the middle of the road (the scene where Lex Luthor is going to re-route the missile) is Larry Hagman.
We checked the credits at the end, and it didn't list him anywhere. Was this a cameo appearance that he didn't get credit for? If it wasn't Larry, then it was a darn near perfect copy!
It was indeed Larry Hagman in that uncredited cameo.
Why he was uncredited is a mystery to me.

Nice to meet someone who loves our country. I'm glad I was born here :D
I'm from Auckland.
Where the Lord of the Rings was flimed is a bit far from where I live but I always take trips down there, its so beautiful and untouched, Larry Hagman said he enjoyed his stay in New Zealand too.
- Pity I found out he was here after he had gone, maybe it was for his own good

LOL when I saw the thread title, I thought, No, he wasn't in that!!
I've seen Superman: The Movie a BILLION times... then right when I clicked, I remembered... OH YEAH!
Speaking of actors and not getting credited, and Gene Hackman: "Young Frankenstein" had Gene Hackman in it, yet he doesn't appear in the credits!
(Oh, by the way, that was Miss Teschmacher, played by Valerie Perrine.)

I used to have a book about the making of that movie, and I think it said that he wasn't credited because of something to do with S.A.G. (the Screen Actors Guild)-I THINK
