I was wondering if CBS is planning a 30th Anniversary Special Of The Young And The Restless since it premiered in March 1973!!!
They aren't planning a special, but they ARE changing their opening sequence for its 30th. Hopefully the original version of "Nadia's Theme" will return.

According to Soap Opera Digest, the week of March 24th,they'll return to the Nadia's theme song and that it will be a revamped version of it. I like the way they went to back to Jill and her mother,Liz and her brothers Snapper and Greg. It will be interesting to find out who Jill's parents really are since she found out by her mother that Jill was adopted.
Just a shame that CBS didn't give The Young And The Restless a prime time special celebrating 30 years on the air:(

V.Newman kissing his daughter in law.Oh what a mistake that is.No offense to E.Braeden but I thought someone with some much clout could stand up for the integrity of his character and go to W.J.Bell and express this slap in the face storyline not only to YR fans but to E.Braeden and M.T.Scott.Kay Alden is no Irma Phillips. No way would Victor do that to his son or Nikki if W.J bell was at the helm.YR prides itself on loyalty to it's performers and fans not to do this opedius issue of some kind.I don't have to watch it anymore because I work and Have a child. As far as giving Y&R Fans a treat do a primetime or weekly behind the scenes with actors and go through the blocking and makeup stages.Watch what goes on in the booth.I wish more shows did this.Show from behind the scenes.
