I checked TV Guide On Line and the next new episode airs Jan 7th (2003). Here is their description for the episode:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Showtime
60 min.
With the Slayer line of succession at stake, Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) prepares for a showdown with the Ubervamp in this pivotal, well-written episode.
Skeletal, callous and frighteningly strong, the Ubervamp (Camden Toy) is among Buffy's deadliest foes. Chief minion of the devilish, shape-shifting First, the demon divides his time between killing potential Slayers and torturing the kidnapped Spike (James Marsters). Determined to protect her apprentices and rescue Spike, Buffy racks her brain for a plan of action while Giles and Anya (Anthony Stewart Head, Emma Caulfield) hope that a visionary creature called Beljoxa's Eye can offer a final solution to the First threat.

I'm glad it's next week. It's so nice not having to wait a month or more for a new episode.

Well if the finale is 2 hours we will have to wait a month, like last season, for the last I think 5 episodes to air. I love those 2 hour episodes. I have all 3 on tape and a special broadcast presentation of Graduation in the 2 hour form when The WB aired it.
Anyways I hope if it's the series finale they air it in the 2 hour form.

Thank you. Did you see ratings for Buffy like 2 weeks ago when UPN aired those repeats from last season? Callmetootie posts them on the General Sitcoms board. Buffy got:
103. "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer-Tuesday 2," UPN, 0.9
105. "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer-Tuesday 1," UPN, 0.8
Thats terrible! UPN needs to advertize the show more. And they need to show ads in the TV Guide like The WB use to do. I love those ads, I would always cut them out and paste them on the tape cover so I would know which tape had which episode.
Thank you again for bumping this back up

No problem. I'm looking forward to the episode! UPN doesn't seem like they want to spend the time, money, and effort to get the ratings for Buffy. You'd think that after they went and bought the show that they'd at least try to advertise it. I don't blame actresses like Sarah for wanting to quit the show when they treat it like this!

I know what you're saying. Did you see previews yet for Emma's new movie? I think it's called 'Darkness Falls' it looks good! I can't wait to see it. If Emma left to do movies like this I don't blame her at all. I hope if Buffy ends this season UPN will at least advertise it. Buffy needs more ratings.
Here is a better detailed summary for tomarrows episode. I got it from Spoiler Zone:
Episode 11: Showtime
Written by David Fury
Buffy picks up--and saves from the Bringers--another Potential Slayer, Rona. They return back to the house to find everyone, including three new Potentials, Eve, Vi and Chloe, awake and discussing the situation. Giles suggests going to an oracle for information. Meanwhile, Spike escapes the First and finds Buffy--but it's only a dream. The First, in the form of Buffy, taunts Spike some more, but Spike insists Buffy will come for him. Giles and Anya visit an old flame of Anya's, Torg, because only a demon can open a gateway to the oracle. While Buffy decides to release Andrew from the ropes, as long as he doesn't run, Willow learns another Potential has come to town. Buffy and Xander go to find her. The Potentials are scared, nervous, and demoralized, and the situation becomes worse when Buffy and Xander find the dead body of one of the Potentials in a motel room and rush back to confront her. But they can do nothing as the First dematerializes. Meanwhile, Giles and Anya find out from the oracle that there is a vulnerability in the Slayer line caused by the Slayer. Giles interprets this to mean that Buffy's resurrection was what caused the vulnerability. Anya feels guilty. Back at the Summers' home, everyone is in an uproar worrying about the coming night. Buffy asks Willow to create a magical barrier to protect them from the Ubervamp. The Ubervamp arrives and attacks. Willow's magical barrier can barely hold, so Buffy urges them all to run. They split up, hoping the Ubervamp will follow Buffy, but it follows the others. Xander has led them to a construction pit where the Ubervamp finds them. But Buffy is there and tells the Ubervamp that they will fight to the death there, and Buffy kills the Ubervamp, impressing the Potentials. Buffy gives another inspiring speech about how they will defeat the First. Later, Spike is alone, bound to the wall, when Buffy arrives. At first he thinks it is the First, but then he realizes it is Buffy, who has come for him. She cuts him down and supports him as they walk away.
