Maura Tierney's performance on ER

Any other NewsRadio fans here also ER fans? I love ER and I like Maura Tierney, but I think her character, Abby Lockhart, has got to be one of the worst ever. :barf: All she seems to do is whine and mope and complain and stuff. Maura was so much better as Lisa, IMHO.

I LOVE ER AND NEWSRADIO!!! Lol, I love Maura to pieces, as well as her character Abby on ER....she's my fav, besides NOOAH (:love: ) anyway, lately, especially the episode last thrusday, she was really mean to her mom.......i mean, i understand that you know, it's hard times, her bro has just been diagnosed with BiPolar disease...and he doesn't want her there, but she's just a little bit on the b***** side......hope this doesn't last

i think Maura is awesome on ER, and she was awesome on Newsradio too. she is my fav actress .

THE REASON I GOT THE FIRST SET OF THE NEWS RADIO DVD'S WAS BECAUSE OF MAURA. SHE'S GREAT ON ER, AND I WANTED TO SEE HER IN A COMEDY ROLE. ALTHOUGH I HAD ALREADY SEEN HER IN LIAR, LIAR & MOOSEPORT, I WANTED TO SEE HER PRE-"ER".

ER'S MY FAV ON-AIR SHOW, ABBY, MY FAVORITE CHARACTER, AND MAURA IS AN OUTSTANDING ACTRESS.

I REMEMBER WATCHING NEWS RADIO FOR A FEW EP'S WHEN IT CAME OUT, BUT NOW I HAVE A NEW APPRECIATION FOR IT.

IF YOU ARE A FAN OF MAURA'S WORK, AND YOU HAVEN'T SEEN HER ON ER LATELY, YOU SHOULD. MAURA HAS ONE OF THE LEADING ROLES, AND SHE IS BETTER THAN EVER!:)

I've never been a fan of ER, though I did watch it once in a while during it's early years (nothing past the Clooney-era). I can't judge her acting on ER, since I haven't seen it. However, I can say this... I'm glad she's on ER. For Maura to finally be in a popular show and get credit for it, only reflect nicely on NewsRadio. Who knows, maybe if none of the NewsRadio cast went anywhere after it's demise, the show might not be on DVD or in reruns on N@N & TBS. So Maura being in ER is a good thing.

Plus, if she wasn't in ER, than JO jr might not be a fan of NewsRadio. :)
