View Full Version : What are thoughts on shows like Blindate, 5th Wheel and Change of Heart?

I really lost interest in Change of Heart-it makes no sense-it eems lke every couple changes their heart now for some reason. I like blindate a lot. Personally i think it's more entertaining when some is rejected. It's kind of boring when both dates work out. As for the 5th wheel, I'm trying to figure what happen to the host.

I think Elimidate is neck and neck with Blindate-a dating show that needs to be taken off completely is SHIPMATES

Most dating shows suck imo. The only one I used to watch was Singled Out.

It doesn't seem like no one on Elimidate and 5th Wheel is looking for a relationship.

I never seen any of the shows that Solomon as mentioned in his first post of this thread and on title of the thread. But I have seen other shows (that could be similiar to the ones he mentioned) that focused on "getting to know the other person" and "dating". Elimidate is one of those shows that I watch. It is interesting to see who the person picks as her/his overall date. One time on the show, it got down to two people and the person had to choose inbetween the two. Guess what the conclusion was? She picked neither one of them because both didn't suit her. Anyways, the twists and the turns in the game are interesting. It is kind of like the reality tv show Survivor in a way. Overall, it's a neat show to watch [at least to me anyways].

Yes Elimidate is very entertaining. I saw one elimidate when The guy had to chose between the last two girls and both girls said they elimidte theirself because he was too arrogant. The only thing that bothers me when I watch elimidte is it seems like when someone gets eliminated they always make it seem like they were not interested anyway and we all now that's a lie.

I think the producers of Blindate produced Elimidate also. Which explains why both show are entertaining. Unlike Change of Heart and 5th Wheel.

Curiously, 3 of the 4 executive producers of Blind Date are also executive producers of the Fifth Wheel but not Elimidate. I only will watch Blind Date and Elimidate because Fifth Wheel and Change of Heart are horrid.

Blind date is fun to watch, it's a guilty pleasure. Sometimes I don't think these people remember that they're on TV with the way they behave. The bad dates are the best. I've seen Elimidate and Fifth Wheel a couple of times but they seem to be more about competition rather than dating. I did see a Shipmates where a woman grabbed a knife from the table and went after her date - that was interesting. I've never seen Change of Heart.
