Okay, I know that Joe, Brian and Helen have been friends since they were kids. But when did the gang meet Lowell? In the first episode, Brian doesn't know him. Then later on in the series, it seems like Lowell went to high school with the trio. Also, when did the Hackett's father die? Was it during the six year seperation? Also, while I'm asking, who is Lowell's employer, Joe or Roy. Those are just some things I'm not clear on.:confused:

Whether or not Lowell knew Joe, Brian, and Helen when they were growing up is one of the continuity problems that the show had. They either knew him or they didn't, depending on the episode.

I think Joe and Brian's father died shortly before the series premiere.

Lowell works for both Joe and Roy.
