Mya's Marriage

It is so sad to see that even on Primetime television, a marriage cannot work. It appalled me that Darnell wanted her to say that they were not growing apart. It was obvious that they were but, that was because she was growing as a person. Whereas he wanted her to stay the same. I don't care if you get married at 50 and live to 75 you will grow even then. Why is it that in this wonderful age when people can continue their education at 75 if they wanted too. In a marriage there is no room for personal growth? What kind of message is this sending and why does this message seem to be a reality?

Arianne where u live at in Cleveland? I live in Cleveland too on Glendale off of Lee Rd. I watched Girlfriends last night & i think the show is corny. I'm not watching it anymore after last night. I do like Mya & Toni but Joann is ugly. William is corny. Laura who played on Family Matters was on there last night as the woman who Mya & Joann confronted at the airport about Darnell.
