"I pity the fool..." - Mr.T
As you may know there's an A-Team movie in the works and it appears that Mr.T will not be asked to reprise his role as BA Baracus.
The following petition is asking director Kevin Brodbin and producer Stephen Cannell to reconsider this casting decision.

The A-Team is one of the programs I grew up watching.
From what I heard none of the original cast are coming back. Mr Peppard (Hannibal Smith) had passed on 8 years ago and with the original team back with out Hannibal wouldn't really be the A - Team.
On the other hand I would rather see them in their roles then any other people.
But they could do something like what they are doing with the new Knight Rider Movie. David Hasselhoff is in the new movie as the person running the foundation, so in other words he is now the Knight Rider boss. And might be married to the chick who fixed his car in the original series, after all Michael Knight did have a thing for her but never had the guts to ask her out.

From what I understand, although David Hasselhoff won't be driving KITT, he'll still be the same character in a different position, but it's still sequel.
As for the A-Team movie, it's suppose to be a remake with none of the original cast involved.
There's a rumour that producer Stephen Cannell is interested in casting Mr.T in another role other than BA Baracus. This makes little sense to me if this is indeed true.

He was excellent and very unique. I sure hope he's there in some capacity.

Stephen Cannell has told Variety recently that The A-Team movie will more of a serious action-drama as compared to the original TV series, but unfortunately has also said though no casting has been made yet, Mr.T will not be casted as BA Baracus and may have a cameo appearance at best.

I heard Ving Rhames or Terry Crews might be playing Mr T's character in the movie.
