Remember that TZ ep about the guy who convinced the whole western town he could ressurect th dead? Well the book The Twilight Zone Companion by Marc Scott Zicree claims that ep suffered sloppiness of conception. Like the scene where all the townspeople (even the town drunk) had between $500 to $1200 on them. I say it's very credible as many of the people in town had previously been in life and death disputes which resulted in the deaths of those 128 townspeople buried in the Boot Hill Cemetery (all but one of whom died by violence) and thus the surviving townspeople were probably very wealthy. Also, Zicree wondered how Garrity (the resurrecter) made his actor accomplice seemingly disappear right in front of the townspeople. In the 1800's before movies werre invented (1895) they had many machgines that could project stil pictures and other images of sorts. Magicians sometimes used them.Perhaps Garrity and his accomplice used one of these machines to convey the illusion of disappearance in front of the townsfolk.
