LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - "Titus" may be ancient history on FOX, but its
creator and star has found new life at NBC.
Christopher Titus has signed a development deal with NBC to develop a drama series
with NBC Studios and the Greenblatt Janollari Studio, according to industry reports.
Titus will write and star in the project, as well as executive produce the series along
with Robert Greenblatt and David Janollari. He will play a cop unfairly kicked off of the
police force who teams up with a loose cannon partner to become a bounty hunter.
The hour-long drama format is a departure for Titus, who starred in his self-titled
sitcom for FOX. The stand-up comic co-created "Titus," a comedy inspired by his real
life experiences about a dysfunctional family that included a drunken, abusive dad and
a crazy mother.
