In next week's TV Guide there is a brief article about the ultimate Munsters fans. There is a couple in Waxahachie, Texas that have built an exact duplicate of the famous tv house complete with a fake Spot under the stairs. The only difference is their Spot does not breath fire nor do they have a real coffin making up their phone booth; the wife did not take to the idea of having a real casket in the room with her. Butch Patrick has given the house his seal of approval and will cohost a Munsters bash on October 26 along with Al Lewis. The couple have experienced only one negative aspect of having their own Munster home; people are continually knocking on their door wishing to come inside and tour the place.

Oh yes, I heard about the Munsters replicated house. A very cool idea to do, but I am sure it must have costed them a bundle to build.

In one article I read about this house, it said it was going to cost around $250,000. This is outside of my budget, but it doesn't seem too unreasonable of an amount to build a home these days.
