If she doesn't want to talk about it, I don't think *we* should be discussing it. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Sounds like an interesting story. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I sure wouldn't look down on them because of their color or race or anything. Sounds like they made a nice couple. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif So if she wanted to share, I'd sure understand & be in support. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif
sorry for sharing my memories

What I find strange is that DeDe was so willing to tell everyone all about her one night at the comedy club with Freddie, but "doesn't want to talk about" any additional encounters with him. How come? Is it because there were no additional encounters? I'm doubting there was even an encounter at a comedy club! Did she sleep with him? I'm not going to bet any money on it.
melanie, I do not give a good got da-m what
the fu-k you think I am from california,
I have met thousands of stars, they are easy
to find and see, the club was on the sunset
strip. anyone could have met him, see tapings
of any show. freddie was human like any of
us. thank god you did not meet him, It sad
that I went through a bad time, but at the
same time there are ways to say things, cheryl and all of my other friends itf you
want to talk about it more send me your e-
mail and I will talk to you that way. what's
your da-m problem are you upset that you did
not get a chance to get you some from him.
I can name every da-m star I have met and

Not trying to step into the middle of a catfight here, but I lived in LA for 7 years and never saw one famous person! I'm not saying one way or the other if I believe what has already been said or could still be said, so no response is needed.

I lived here four years and I have only seen Ozzy Osbourne and Bob Segar. Other then that I saw more famous people in NY when I was there. But hey I don't know where to go or where to look. Give me NY any day I know all the spots for fun for star gazing for anything you need that ails ya. Not here in CA It's like a big open prison. I'm lost.

Listen guys, I don't want to hurt anyones feelings or offend anyone especially you DeDe, but I too am having a little trouble with this whole comedy club episode...somehow the pieces just dont fit..I apologize for this, Melanie was a little harsh, but she does have a point..If there is more to tell why dont you tell it?? I know I would IF the whole thing acutually happend.. What month and year did this take place. Was this before or after Kathy?? From reading his story I get the disctint feeling that Freddie did not take his relationships litely.. He was very emotional and sensitive... I dont picture him as just out for a good time.. Sorry if this upsets u!!!

Well I saw alot of stars in New York I saw Barry Gibb dancing in the Copa Cabana. I saw Eddie Murphy at Tony Roma's. I saw Al Lewis at a restaurant. I saw Ashford & Simpson walking on 3rd avenue. I saw Jackie Kennedy eating an ice cream cone. I saw the making of the 2nd King Kong movie with their stars (Jessica) near the World trade Center. King Kong was already laying down on the street. I'm probably in the movie but, there were tons of people that day. LOL I've been hit on by stars but, they were "OOGLY" http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/tongue.gif and I'm not a desperate female LOL - I saw the guy that played Moondoggie on Gidget "Darren" (Forgot his last name he was going to the cleaners to pick up his cleaning. He had gray hair when I saw him. He was good looking. I know I've seen more but, right now my head is topsy turvy.....

hi jennylee22, here some of the stars i have seen. i use to teach areobics in hollywood and anthony geary from that soap general hospital was in my class and miguel nunez from "sparks". miguel is very nice. i have seen the cast of a different world. barbara eden. motown atists; smokey robinson, mary wells . mary wilson, stevie wonder and berry gordy. dick clark. i am glad i was able to see mary wells before she past away. i seen arsenio hall and jay leno. jay is very nice. i worked on that show 90210 and seen shannen (brenda) and jenny garth. when i worked on lethal weapon, i saw danny glover and mel gibson. that is just some of the people. now here in northern cali. i have seen tracy chapman.tracy is very shy. barry white. chris webber and latrell sprewell. steve young and jerry rice. deon sanders. just to name a few. my english teacher sees jerry rice all the time at the grocery store and no one bothers him because it's like no big thing for some californians. there is a lot of people that i wish i could have met that is no longer with us like: tammi terrell, marilyn monroe, and freddie prinze but my mother has met him and i think that's great to have met such a great talented person and to share her memories with all of us. I am the one that introduced her to this board . and for flan and whoever else that do not believe my mothers story saddens me. all you have to do is ask her what you want to know like: which club? and those other questions. that is all you have to do. i try to find out any and information i can from people that are from philadelphia that can tell me anything on tammi terrell and that is just a thrill for me to meet people that can give me any information on her that they can remember and share their memories of her with me. to dream...er, if you want to see some stars, the first place is hollywood. i hope that helps you dream...er to see some stars. now where to go in hollywood? anywhere. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif now my mother feels she has burned out her welcome on this board. now i feel bad for telling her about this great board and asking her to share her memories with ALL of us. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif anything she could remember, i appreciate it.

Tracy your mom shouldn't feel like that as far as I am concerned she is welcomed. She has always been kind to me and I always enjoy her posts!!! Just my 2 cents.
tracy,
I just got home and read your reply, I was
thinking all day at work what to say, but you
have just said it for me, I no longer feel
welcome here anymore and this is my last
post, reply, and response on this board. just
think what a fool I have been, I was putting
together a project I felt everyone was going
to like. since I work for a huge hotel I
ask my general manager to help me put a plan
together, we that work for the hotel gets a
discount worldwide, I was working so hard at
putting a package together so that those on
this board that are not from here (california) could come here have a nice place to stay on a family friend rate, and I
had talked to our conciege into helping me
put together a sight seeing tour for those on
this board. I thought of various places for
people to see stars and a good time to come.
for example the Hollywood Christmas Parade
the floats are full of stars and it is so
beautiful, but do not worry I do not want to
hurt or offend anyone with the plan I was so
hard working on. I have said nothing but nice
things to everyone and about everyone, I was
so proud of this board that I told other people to visit this board. I am sorry that
I live in California and have met a lot of
movie stars, recoring artist, basketball stars and the list is long. Every person I
said I met I did, when it comes to a point
when a person is doubted it is time to say
goodbye, so I will never visit this board again, I will thank those at work that has
helped me so far into putting that plan together. GOODBYE FOREVER.

This is what I'm talking about, Tracy. You said all we need to do is ask you mother about meeting Freddie and the club, etc., and she will tell us. OK, this was supposedly 24 years ago. How could she actually PROVE something like that? The other party involved is deceased, so all we have is her story, which is, at best, far fetched. The "red flags" started waving for me when I noticed how well DeDe "remembered" each and every detail about that night with Freddie, albiet it was only an hour. I sometimes have difficulty remembering what I did last week, much less 24 yrs ago!!! Basically, what I'm saying is that I am not going to buy into this comedy club story as easily as others have. Even in 1975, I cannot see a major TV star just asking a total stranger to join them for an hour or whatever in a night club. TV stars, then and now, have friends, co-workers and staff coming out the wazoo at every turn....and it's extremely unlikely they will ever be alone when they decide to visit a night club or comedy club. This is JMHO and you that don't agree, bash away, but this is a public forum where public views and opinions can be shared - either good or bad. I'm just sorry that DeDe feels she has to fabricate a story to garner attention from others.

Melanie are you just here to start a fight? You aren't even a registered member....WHat's YOUR problem? get a grip...If yyou don't like what you are reading move on...GOD. WHat aB##ch you are. WHy do you have to hurt people? If you don't believe DeDe don't read her posts. You are a wicked mean horrid person. Your life must be so lonely that you have to hurt people like this. Ya should have kept your opinions to yourself. WITCH

Gee, De De. What's with the edits? I may be new to all this but I've loved Freddie just as long as you have. Don't hang it out there for the world to see and then yank it back when you don't like what some folks have to say. If your story is true, then stick by it. If it isn't, then let us all enjoy the fantasy with you. There are always going to be people who don't believe what others say. But I think it's pretty chicken-sh*t to pull your story and say "sorry for sharing"

Hey, I'm not a registered member either -does that make me less important? In any case though dreamer, I agree with you that Melanie is just here to start trouble as well as insult the intelligence of the regulars here. If Dede was making up the story, does it bother you that much,Melanie? I mean you sound so vitriolic! Are you going to lose sleep over it? Is it hurting anybody or just harmless fun? Maybe some other members of the board-who shall remain nameless to protect the guilty- also were taking her story with a grain of salt but enjoying the fantasy. Maybe these same members were also too polite and kind to start getting nasty and accusatory. Life is much too short and there is too much nastiness out there in the world. We don't need any of it here on the board.

No Jaycee...It's not my board I don't care If people regester or not. I just know from experience that people will show up make a couple of nasty posts and go hiding away watching the drama they have created....they are called trolls. No offense to unregestered users. Just wanted to make my point about that damn troll Melanie who can kiss my butt too. I hate mean people and she/he is a first class jackass. Fact or fantasy I do not care. She was nasty to De De and know the wench is hiding away....

dream er - You hit the nail on the head. Trolls..... What a perfect name for them. DEDE - Don't go away. I had fun reading your posts.

I'm not in hiding....just the opposite. I am here and will defend my opinions.
Dream...er, you say you "hate mean people"? Well, I hate liars and no matter how much you sugar coat it, what DeDe was doing was lying to everybody here and it's pretty darn pathetic that you and others are defending her actions so vehemently. I agree wholeheartedly with what "chicosladyfair" said about "don't hang it out there for the world to see....."
About being a registered member....according to the "About Registration" clause, registration is not required to post in this forum. So, just because I'm not a "registered user", I'm automatically labeled a troll? Yarite.....
As far as NOT reading DeDe's posts, it is hard not to read them when there are so many of them on each thread. OK, fine....she is Freddie's #1 fan....great, but for crying out loud, why fabricate a story about meeting Freddie, etc. and try to pass it off as fact JUST because one lives in California?? That's what got my knickers in a twist!
My life is far from lonely. Why should I have kept my opinions to myself? I only said out loud what I'm sure others must have been thinking, as well. Why should I be condemned for that?
BTW, I never used ONE word of profanity nor did I call anyone a nasty name in any of my posts.....can you say the same, Dream...er and DeDe?

HEY LADIES, I thought we were supposed to have fun with these boards...not used them as a public forum to scratch each others eyes out. One of the reasons I registered here was so I could have a say and feel like part of a group that appreciated Freddie's special "attributes" not to read cat fights everytime I logged on. I wish De De wouldn't go away either...I'm just disappointed that she pulled her stories before I got a chance to read them. Fact or fiction, Freddie makes for some mighty good reading. I don't care if they are true...I just want to drool and slobber over what "might" have happened. Let's hear it again, De De.

Hey guys, All I think is trying to be said or what some are saying this is a point that had to be made...I believed DEDE at first, but then the string got longer and longer and the longer it got the harder it was to swallow I am not a mean or malicious person I enjoy this board very much and the people on it but be reasonable and think about it a little. No one is trying to chase DeDe away, I find her a nice person..pleasant etc..but other people have opions Im sorry she feels that way..she didn't have to react the way she did...Bye for now
