Do you enjoy show's such as Donna Reed, Father Knows Best, Little Rascals, Leave It To Beaver, Dennis the Menace, Courtship of Eddie's Father, I Love Lucy and other's? Did you know that one of if not all of them are being aired somewhere in the world right now? Well these wonderful child actor's are not being payed. The company's are but the kid's that put thier childhood on the burner for our enjoyment are not getting a dime. This isn't fair at all and we should do something about it. Contact these people who own the right's to these show's and talk to them about it. These actor's need your support.

This is a lost cause!!

Yes the child stars should get something with so many of their shows still on tv.

However Spanky McFarland ( Our Gang ) for years and years tried to change the system so he and the other former child stars get the money they deserve. He failed !!

I am sure there are so many legal loop holes that it would be difficult to change the rules.

Also this practice of not paying child stars the money the deserve from the reruns , they arent the only ones...

many rock stars from the 50s & 60s are going through the same situation. you be surprised how many of them are on welfare and broke even though many of their tunes are still played on the radio. The lead singer of Badfinger ( remember "Come and Get It " ) actually killed himself over this. And cant forget what happened to Mary Wells. Her tune "MY Guy" still remembered to this day. What you may/may not know was that she died back in the early 90s.

Despite making Motown so much money, the woman didnt even have health insurance, she was that broke. She had to continue singing even after she found out she had throat cancer.

The system I agree is disgrace. But with so many savvy lawyers out there, it will be next to impossible to change it. If the formers stars cant change it, doubt we could too.
