Did I think Dharma and Greg would get axed... I thought it would be one of those programmes that just ran until the actors got bored of it.

How many seasons were made altogether?

I need a moment to compose myself ;) Being from England I had no idea Dharma and Greg had been axed... it's such a shame!

It was no surprise that Dharma and Greg were axed. Like many of ABC's shows last season they had very bad ratings. To bad though I thought it was a pretty funny show.

I beileve the show started in 1997 and they went to 2002. So that is 5 seasons.

Ugh. I hate the fact that all most TV channels seem to care about is ratings. Pfft.

I enjoyed the show. What ticks me off is they took it off with no warning & gave it no ending. It deserved a proper ending. At least ABC is showing re-runs late at nite like 1:30 am or something...

You're right they should have given Dharma and Greg a series finale. If a show runs as long as Dharma and Greg does they should get one.

Yep, Dharma and Greg lasted five seasons, 1997-2002. It tied with "Veronica's Closet" in 1998 for Favorite New Comedy at the People's Choice Awards, and was canceled because of low ratings. I agree, too -- it should have been given a series finale.

Definitely. There's no way they should just have pulled the plug that without filming a decent last episode that would do the show, and the actors, proud.

Aww, I don't live in the US so this is the first I've heard of Dharma and Greg being cancelled... :( It did deserve a proper ending, I can't believe they didn't get one! What was the last thing that was happening on the show over there before the cancellation? Thanks.

I think it was time for the show to go. The first ans second seasons were brillant, the third okay, the fourth horrid, and from was I saw of the fifth, it was dead. The cancellation should have come of no shock to the actors, the ratings were dead all season and progressively got worse.

I agree, the first two seasons were the best.

It Deserves a Happy Ending! Dharma & Greg should have had a baby at the end!:(

I only saw one episode from the last season, the one where the little girl keeps following Dharma around.

What a horrible piece of crap!

I was the biggest D&G fan back in the second and third seasons, but then lost interest because it just seemed to be getting worse and worse. Now I look back and it and think, wow, there was a show truly about nothing!

Dharma and Greg kicked arse in Season 1 & 2. Season 3 was decent, but not as good. By Season 5, they were phoning it in. They should have stuck a fork in it because by the end of Season 4, it was done. Thank god I have all episdoes w/ exception of 3 on tape so I can relieve the glory days.
