This is a fun project which many can join in on. Post by post we each add to the story which eventually results in an episode or series of episodes.

I'll start it off...

Season one- 1982

Episode title~ Alex's sense of urgency

We open with the kitchen where Steven Keaton is sitting down by a glass of orange juice, reading a news paper in the morning. Alex bolts through the swinging door and picks up the phone impatiently dialing a number.

".......Good morning Alex. Are you ordering a pizza for breakfast?" Steven remarks.

[Plata]

Alex: No, Dad. I've got a history test coming up. I'm calling Ellen to see when we can get together.

Steven: Oh. Well...

(doorbell rings)

(Steven opens door)

Steven: Ned! How are you?

Ned: Well, I'm feeling tired and crappy and I've spent my years in jail all this time, so you don't have to ask me how I am.

Steven: Sorry I cared.

(Ned walks in)

Ned: Hi, Alex.

Alex: Hi, Ned. I'll see you later. I've got a test to catch.

(Alex goes out door)

Ned: Great kid, Steven. Alex sure got some good economics studying genes. Did he get it from you or Elyse?

Steven: My father. (said bitterly)

Ned: Oh. Well, how is work these days?

[Crimson]

Steven: Great, as a matter of fact we're putting together this new project and....

Ned (cutting Steven off): Well that's great, listen we need to talk.

Steven: I figured as much.

[Plata]

(Ned sits down in a chair)

Ned: Remember how many years ago when I had trouble with the law?

Steven: Yes. I seem to recall something about you embezzling money.

Ned: Well, this time I'm in trouble again, only this time it's worse.

(Elyse walks in)

Elyse: Hi, Ned. How have you been?

Ned: Oh, the usual. I'm in trouble again. And, the cops are on my tail and (voice drops to a low whisper) I killed my boss.

Elyse and Steven: What?!?

Elyse: Ned, that's horrible!

(Mallory walks in)

Mallory: Hi, everyone. (sees Elyse, Ned and Steven serious)
What's wrong?

Ned: Mallory, your uncle Ned has been bad again.

Mallory: What? You mean you stole more money? Embezzled it?

Ned: No, not exactly. I just killed my boss.

Mallory: Excuse me while I go puke.

(Mallory exits kitchen, hand over her mouth)

Elyse: Ned, how could you do that?

Ned: What? Make Mallory puke?

Elyse: No, I mean kill another human being. It's not like you!

Ned: You thought I wasn't the type to embezzle money either and look what happened!

Steven: Ned, embezzling money is bad, but killing another human being? That's just... (walks out of the room in disgust)

Elyse: Ned, remember when I kept you safe here when you embezzled money?

Ned: Yes?

Elyse: Well, I can't even make the mistake to do it this time. It's either you stay here and we turn you in or...

Ned: Or what, Elyse?

Elyse: You leave.
