Sad to inform everyone that "Jennifer" in TBS program has confirmed that "Full House" will be leaving TBS after Monday's episode at 4pm et. Also, she hinted that "Saved by the Bell" may not be around much longer, but she wouldn't go into details. We'll see. I don't think anything will happen.
Thanks, Y'all.

Well, thanks for the scoop, but Full House leaving was announced a few months back, but Saved By The Bell *possibly* leaving is indeed news, I doubt doubt it will, it came on in 1992 (whether it's been on the entire time, I don't know). I was hoping the thread was that a new show (classic show) was being added, LOL :( Well, Full House still airs in syndication here on both my WB and UPN stations early in the morning.

Well, that is quite interesting news. Whenever I email the Superstation, Jennifer tries her best to avoid the question at hand especially if it is something about a sitcom leaving TBS.
Saved by the Bell aired from November 1992 at 4:05 until May 1993 and it then started showing double episodes until December 1996 when it moved to single episodes at 4:35 ct. In February 1997 it returned to a full hour starting again at 4:05 ct. In June 1997, it moved to 5:05 and 5:35 then returned to 4:05 and 4:35 in August. Then their final move occured in October 1998 when they moved it to the mornings at 6:05 and 6:35 where it has aired for 4 years.

Wow, so they have aired it continually since 1992. That's a LONG time, lol. 10 years. Well, Three's Company aired on TBS for 7 years and Nick at Nite has TC for 7 years as well... Got off topic, sort of, LOL.

Not a big fan of Full House, so I'm glad it's leaving...

Full House doesnt strike me as a suprise, they have been kinda phasing it out...prempting it for baseball and whatnot. As for saved by the bell, i used to watch it all the time when it was on in the evening. I didnt even know it was still on, but then again 6 am there is 4 am here and i dont care how good a show is i am NOT getting up at 4 to watch t.v.

We should try emailing TBS, to convice them to keep SBTB.
I'm thankful that Saved By The Bell is still aired here in L.A.
BTW, I wonder if there is any chance that SBTB could move to Nickelodeon, since NickUK already airs it?

It could be very well going to Nick or maybe even Disney Channel. TBS owned the rights from 1992 to 1998 where they could air the shows in any order then after 1998 they started airing them in order from first season to last season. But to be honest, I think if they take off Saved by the Bell they don't really have any other show in the works to take the place unless you take Moesha that is coming in 2003. They can't air two episodes of Fresh Prince, Cosby SHow and Family Matters, so if they lose Saved by the Bell that is going to be a huge vacant spot in their lineup.

Cross out Fresh Prince; it's leaving sometime in 2003.

A couple of things to chew on. First, just a correction. Nick started airing Threes Company is the fall of 2000, I think somebody said it was seven years ago. It just seems that long. About Full House leaving WGN and TBS. When Nick buys up a show they try and buy up all the rights to that show so it can air nowhere else. Sometimes they are successful, sometimes they are not. With Cheers they could not could not get exclusive rights so it airs everywhere else all the time but usually they win. If you look at shows like Andy Griffith, it used to air everywhere, and the shows they most recently got like the Brady Bunch and Three's Company used to air on TBS but now they not only dont air there, they are gone everywhere but Nick. So my guess would be that since Full House is gone from WGN and gone from TBS that Nick it getting ready to show it soon. That is what happened with the other shows I mentioned.

Cheers still airs in local syndication, but on no cable channel except Nick, so i call that exclusive. Cosby Show is hardly exclusive to Nick at Nite. Threes Company did come to Nick in October 2000, so it's only aired for 2 years, and the rights expire 2007, Cheers' rights expire in 2008 and Coach expires 2004. Charles in Charge leaves NaN sometime in 2003. Full House and Fresh Prince are both reportedly going to Nick at Nite in 2004, so Full House probably won't be seen at all in 2003 unless it airs in local syndication (I get it on my local UPN station). Fresh Prince leaves TBS in 2003.
