3 & 1/2 months and counting...

since we last had an update about the status of the DVD set. Boy this is depressing! Will we EVER see it???

I'm so worked up about this because of all the old shows I like, this one is my favorite - by far!!! As much as I would enjoy a set of Andy Griffith DVDs, or Leave it to Beaver DVDs, or Father Knows Best DVDs, or...well, you get the picture. More than any other show I want Dick Van Dyke on DVD! No commercials! No cut scenes! Every episode! I'd get no work done for a month, but what the heck.

Count me in as someone else who is losing sleep over the lack of a complete DVD Show collection on DVD. I've emailed the "Official Dick Van Dyke Show" page at least a half a dozen times but the guy has never answered once. What is up?

I've done the same email thing with them, and gotten the same lack of response. One person here a few months ago said that they had emailed and gotten a response back, but I've emailed a number of times and gotten nothing.

And I went thru all the proper procedures of telling them how much I loved the show and wanted to thank them... My point is that I was short (didn't ramble), friendly, and complimentary - but I still never got/get a response.

In their last update, they say they are working toward a Christmas release, but I don't put any stock in it. They said that about last Christmas - and you see how that went.

They have the originals. They have a company ready to do it (Image). They say they have been working on it for over a year + now. WHAT IS THE HOLDUP???
