Always good for a debate when they have shows listed this way.
I never thought 'The Jeffersons' or 'Friends' was very funny so I would elimiinate them. Never saw 'The Larry Sanders Show', so I have no opinion on that.
Surprised that 'Taxi' is at #9...a good show, but rated a little high IMO.
I would fit 'Leave it to Beaver' in there somewhere and also 'Newhart' (the one from Vermont).
'Seinfeld' was a great show and although #1 may be debatable, I have no problem with the rating.
What say ye all!

I agree with the Friends, but I think the Jeffersons is funnier AT TIMES than All in The Family. I dont like how they put shows like Sex & The City as one of the funniest when it hasnt been around that long ya know? I agree with a lot of those, even though they might not be all my favorites. I always thought Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was pretty funny....maybe #25, or a close 26. Happy Days is my favorite, but my 2nd fav. Laverne & Shirley was a tad funnier at times-more physical comedy.

Uh, Simpsons over Lucy? That makes sense.

I think Will and Grace and Roseanne should have been in the top 10. And Taxi should have never made that list. By the way Friends deserves to be number 8 on the list. They didn't finish being the number one show last season because they were unfunny.

I thought Friends was a decent show the first three seasons; after that the girls turned into Airheads and guys started acting like a bunch of pansies, especially Ross. It doesn't matter where the show finishes, IMO it's not a funny show; annoying yes, but funny? NO! Not everybody has to think alike.

I don't know about that. I didn't start watching Friends until their 7th season. And I beleive the episodes from the 7th season and beyond are pretty good.

Like I said, not everybody has to think alike. I thought one of the best shows on the air was Vengeance Unlimited...apparently the network didn't agree with me.
Still one of the best lines I ever heard on TV:
Colonel: Have you ever been beaten half to death by wooden rakes?
Mr. Chapel: I sat through "The English Patient" once. (Vengeance Unlimited)
