Donna fainting?

Hello all! I recently read what I believe to be a poorly research paper on women's images on TV in the '50s and '60s. In it, the author claims that Donna Stone was prone to fainting. But, in all the episodes I've seen, not once has Donna taken a dive. Does anyone know if this is true? Is there even one episode where Donna faints?

I don't know if Donna ever faints, but in the episode "April Fool", from April 1, 1959, Mary faints.

I keep reading these posts about Donna Stone, Harriet Nelson, June Cleaver and Margaret Anderson fainting and they crack me up. I think these women were a little stronger than that. Besides, what earth shattering problems did these women have anyway where they would be fainting every five minutes. Jeff forgot to clean his room. Donna hits the floor. Ricky's playing rock and roll. Quick, Ozzie, catch Harriet! Wally cut the Beaver's hair. Ward, get the smelling salts for June. Princess doesn't have a date for the prom. Boom, there goes Margaret. I really can't picture this happening.

I agree. So many books, etc refer to the early TV housewives disparagingly, especially Donna Reed, when Donna was fiesty, a fighter, and not a wimp, nor drudge, nor dull nor dumb at all. She was great! and Smart!
