I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm gonna only watch this show for Suzanne Pleshette and the whole "the worst morning show in America" thing, I can tell that the Dylan character is gonna be my least favorite of all...

I figured because you don't usually like that whole "Guy loves co-worker but doesn't have the guts to tell her" thing.I personally do for several reasons:

1.Right now it's really similar to my life in the fact that I'm in love with my teacher's daughter and don't have the guts to tell her!

2.You get to dream that your the guy going for the girl and if the girl is a hottie (Which I guess in this case she is) your dreams are even BETTER!

The only thing that will get annoying is the will/won't they get together type shows all the time.

Why is it on all sitcoms the pretty girl is dating a tool?

You would think that this Dylan character, who looks like she's pretty smart wouldn't be dating the stuck up smarmy anchor man..
I think we can see where this is leading...

I'm really rooting for the show. I think it has huge potential but personally, I've never been a huge fan of romance on sitcoms.

I wouldn't mind nearly so much if they eased up a bit on that aspect and spent some time developing the supporting players. Not to mention, focusing some energy on the attempts to salvage their wreck of a morning show. That's the angle, I find myself tuning in for primarily. That and the fact I'm a huge Tessie Santiago fan that is. ;o)

Anyway, at the rate they're pushing the romantic angle, it's gonna get old real fast. At least it is for me.

Personally I like this show because of the whole "Will they get together thing?".It would just be another boring workplace comedy without it and don't say it's not like real life because it is! I feel exactly like Jake when it comes to the girl I've fallen for.I too have referred to her as "My future wife" but can't ask her out because she has a boyfriend who intimidates him and because they have a special friendship that he doesn't want to hurt.

Also it made me wonder if Amanda has a dirty drawer herself LOL....
