Notice the world "old" in that.
And I figure out I never really LIKED the Yankees... I only liked them because they always won.
To be a Yankees fan isn't that hard- they always win. But to be a Red Sox fan, you've got a lot of pride and dignity in you because well... let's put it this way- The Bambino is striking again.

No, I'll hate the Yankees because they're stuck up and conceited. Yankees may suck, but Jeter swallows.....

That's the sound of jealousy. Why don't you ask your parents what it was like when the Sox won the series...Oh wait, they weren't born yet! Why don't you ask your grandparents what it was like when the Sox won...Oh yeah, they weren't born yet either.

Another thing about the Yankees is that they are so greedy. I don't know exactly who it was but someone from the Cleveland Indians organization blamed George Steinbrenner for the money problems in baseball that almost led to the strike. That guy spends too much money.

Larry Dolan was the guy who blamed Steinbrenner. How is it the Yankees fault that they spend too much money? There is no salary cap or restrictions or rules that say they can't spend money. The Yankees didn't pay A-Rod 250 million dollars, Texas did. The Yankees are successful because they are smart. The Yankees wouldn't have won anything if they didn't have Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Bernie Williams, Jorge Posada, Andy Pettite and Alphonso Soriano. They didn't buy those guys, they came from their farm system. What about teams like the Rangers and the Dodgers, even the REd Sox. They spend a lot of money and haven't won s**t!

Aha.... uh yeah they were! Jesus Christ.... and me? Jealous of the Yankees?! That'll be the day. I'm not jealous of people who think they are God, thanks....

Please, It is so jealousy. If it isn't, then explain what ANY of the Yankees did that made them think they were God.

They win all the time, the players say they're the best, the fan think they're the best, and the fact that they buy their championships.

Ok and how can all the Sox fans be jealous? I was at Yawkey way the other day for a game and... listen to my concept-
The game was almost sold out. It was a TUESDAY night. You go to a game @ The Stadium on a Tuesday night and it won't even be close to sold out. Not many people want to go to a game on a weeknight. The Sox fans have pride. We all know the Sox won't amount to anything big this year, but ya know what? We go anyways. We still go to the games regardless of if we win or lose because we like the Sox.
Now if the Yankees had a steep fall in lets say, early September, and there was no way whatsoever that they would be able to make it into the playoffs as AL winners or Wild Card winners, I can guarantee you that Yankees fans would think "Oh what the hell" and stop going to the games because they knew the Yankees didn't have a chance.
And THAT, my friend, is the difference between Yankees fans and Red Sox fans. We have faith, they don't. The Yankees have bought their way into the series so many times that Yankees fans are used to seeing them win. If the Yankees don't win, it's like "Oh my gawd, we lost a series. It's the end of the world. Lets just go shoot ourselves now". When us Sox fans know we won't win a series, it's like "Oh well, we didn't do a good enough job this year. We'll try for next year." We have dignity, they don't. Most of all, we have pride, and they don't. Baseball isn't about winning like many people think it is. It's just a game.

   Infact I'm going to a game in a week. I'd never not go just because the Red Sox aren't gonna make the playoffs. That's stupid!

1. The player's say they're the best.
None of them have said that. If so, give me a quote any quote that they did.
2. Fans think they're the best.
That's what fans are supposed to do.
3. They buy their championships.
Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettite, Bernie Williams, Jorge Posada and Alphonso Soriano were not bought they came from their farm system. The Yanks wouldn't have won any of their championships without those guys.
What about the Sox who bought Manny Ramirez, Johnny Damon, Pedro Martinez, Ugeth Urbina and Cliff Floyd? Why haven't they won anything or even made the playoffs? They bought players too. So did the Texas Rangers and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Yankees are also smart and keep the right players and don't trade them away like say a Jeff Bagwell.
