Family Affair is the 1st new show of the season.In past years The first shows of the season are likely to get sent packing (IE:Head Over Heels and Hitz which premiered right after it were some of the 1st cancellations of te 1997?-1998? Season!).Of course this curse hasn't happened in the past 2 years.2000's Girlfriends and Last Year's One on One were both renewed!

So will 2002 mark the return of The Kickoff Curse?

I don't know what curse you're talking about. Barely any shows that premiere first get cancelled. Whatever you are talking about, was just coincidence...

I watched the show. It's watchable. Tim curry is funny but it didn't do anything for me. The ratings will probably be pretty good considering people wanted to watch the new Harry Potter trailer, but wait for the newer shows to start next week...the thursday night timeslot is death.
