I think it's great that the new Houston Texan's won their first ever season opener, but did it HAVE to be against my Boys??? I wish Jerry Jones would keep his nose out and let the coach coach for a change, but NO he HAS to have his two cents. Oh well, looks like this is going to be another bad year for the Boys since they didn't get a good quaterback in the offseason. At least I have another Texas team to root for again. It's kinda cool to get the old rivalry back here in Texas.

The Texans look like, even though they have a young team, they are pretty talented. They seem like an okay team from what I've seen, but did they have to steal the Texan's name from Dallas? Why couldn't the owner have picked an original name for the new Houston team?

I'm ranting, I know...I'll go now.

That was one heck of a game. I'm glad the Texans one. They seem to have a pretty solid team. David Carr has an arm on him...

The Texans have done a very good job building their team - I can see them winning maybe 5 games. They have a good d, running game, special teams, and future star QB.

I think the Texans moved to Kansas City so the name was dropped. The new owner of the Texans even asked the owner of the Chiefs if he could use the name (even though he didn't have to).

Bring back the Oilers!

Yes they did move to Kansas City, but still...to me, the Texans will always be from Dallas. It made ALOT of people upset in Dallas when they decided on that name for their team. I think that is one of the reasons the rivalry is pretty bad right now, that and the fact that Houston hasn't had a team in a while.
