I read this in the Macon paper and decided to post it here.
Many red-blooded men my age remember Julie Newmar as Stupefyin' Jones in Li'l Abner and as Catwoman on the '60s TV series Batman. What's she doing now? -Greg M., Tacoma, Wash.
Newmar just finished shooting Back to the Batcave, a CBS special not yet scheduled. Still in great shape at 69, the 5-foot-11 actress stays fit with ballet lessons and gardening at the L.A. home she shares with her only child, John, 21, who has Down syndrome. "A wonderful thing happened recently," Newmar tells us. "A rose is being named for me. It's like having the perfect man ask you to marry."
