?

I don't like season finale cliffhangers, cuz it takes months to find out what happens, instead of the usual week (which also kinda makes me mad).

I also don't like when they totally revamp shows, like they did with SabrinaTTW, about a hundred times! Have you heard? They're doing it again.

I'm sure there are more. When I think of 'em, I'll post 'em.

All sitcom characters live in apartments the size of an airplane hanger.

Has anyone actually seen a New York City Apartment?

Shoebox, people! The password is shoebox!

I like Cliffhangers because it makes you want to see the next episode. What bugs me is when a show is cancelled after doing a cliffhanging SEASON finale (Example:Moesha)

Revamp shows are OK.Some are good (Example:The Facts of Life) and some are horrible (Example:I haven't seen the new Becker of Sabrina yet so I'll hae to get back to that one but I suspect them to be bad!).

Family Sitcoms like the Brady Bunch get on my nerves.I agree with Robert Reed that they resoled things too quickly. Some are good though. My Wife and Kids,While it has lost steam after it's 1st season is still good and 8 Simple Rules... looks promising.

one of my pet peeves is adding children to a cast in latter seasons of a show
for example

sam(different strokes)
andy(the facts of life)
cousin oliver(the brady bunch)
olivia & pam (the cosby show)
seven(married with children)
billy(who's the boss)
ricky(partridge family)
chrissy seaver(growing pains)
luke(played by leonardo dicaprio)growing pains
alex(one day at a time)&
baby andrew(too close for comfort)the worst child addition of alltime because it destroyed one of the funniest sitcoms.

You got mine too. Don't forget Stephanie for All in the Family.

Of course, there was Andy on Family Ties which subjected viewers to watch Alex walk around with the kid like a ventrilaquist with his dummy (no offense to actor Brian Bonsall).
These kids age in dog years as well. Crib to scooter in one hiatus break.

I can't honestly say that about Stephanie being terrific on ABP. I've only seen one episode of ABP and Steph wasn't in that episode. Guess I'll find out soon since its coming to tvland.

I get peeved by sitcoms that use, "On a very special episode of..." They try to add so much drama to a sitcom. Why can't these shows just be funny and leave the drama to... well, dramas?!?

It gets annoying when sitcoms contradict themselves. When they reveal something in one episode that totally contradicts something that they revealed in a previous episode.

Different actors playing the same character. It shouldn't happen. If an actor has to leave a series than their character should have to leave as well.

Characters disappearing with no explanation also gets on my nerves.

Yeah, that's a good one.

It seems like every week, it's "an E.R. you can't miss" or "if you see only one episode of E.R. this season..."

We get it! It's dramatic!

Oh, yeah, definitely!!!

I absolutely HATED the episodes of The Wonder Years and Perfect Strangers which stooped to this level.:livid:

Fortunately I do not recall this on The Brady Bunch at all. :D

I hate watching a show where the storyline involves romantic angst.

"Will they get together or will they stay broken up" "We broke up but I still love him/her."

I just don't care.

No offence but isn't that what they are currently doing on your (Judging from your name and avatar) Favorite Show? :p
