View Full Version : Segments shown in the 30 minute episodes not in the hour broadcasts?
Does anyone know if there are any segments that are shown in the edited down 30 minute episodes that aren't shown in the full hour broadcats?
Does anyone have any information (or a tape) of a segment on Judy White (alias), Judy Mitchell (birth name), Judy Curtis (married
name) defrauding the elderly? Apparently this was a segment shown a few months ago on one of the 30 minute episodes, but I haven't seen it in a full broadcast. Thanks for any information.

I think you are correct about some segments only being featured in 30 minute late night lifetime episodes - I can think of two offhand - The first being the story which was discussed on these boards a few months back about the two kidnapped children who were thought to be seperate cases until someone found a photograph of them together after the kidnapping (I saw this in late 1999 on lifetime in the early morning and it scared the hell out of me - to my knowledge <and I rarely miss an unsolved mysteries ep on lifetime> it has never been aired during one of their regular daytime or prime time hour broadcasts)
The second example is the UFO GUARDIAN FOOTAGE of someone taping a UFO sighting and blaming the whole UFO phenomena (sp?) on the United State government - I am certain this is only broadcasted as part of the half hour early morning segments as that is the only time I've seen it.
Sorry but I have no info on the Judy Curtis case that you speak of
Later.

Unfortunately, I do not have any information about the case you are seeking, but I can verify that you are correct about the 30 minute episodes being different. I used to tape these quite a bit, and I do remember a story about a guy who vanished while on a wilderness retreat. He was in the midst of writing a novel about a friend who had also disappeared under bizarre circumstances a year or two before. I have never seen this story repeated during the usual hour block.
I also noticed that the 30 minute episodes sometimes contain more original broadcast footage than their 1 hour counterparts (edited for time, I suppose); especially if the cases remain unsolved.
