I was wondering did anyone know where Did Good times fall in the ratings during the 77-78 season This was the season without Florida so i was wondering how far did the ratings plunge?

Good Times had been on a ratings plunge since John Amos left in 1976.

1973-1974 Season #17
1974-1975 Season #7
1975-1976 Season #24
1976-1977 Season #26
1977-1978 Season Below #30
1978-1979 Season Below #30

I'm surprised the 77-78 season wasn't below 50, since the show was without florida and james at the beginning of the 77-78 season-that was the season janet jackson came-was she supposed to boost the ratings?

When I say it's below 30, it means that I can't find the exact rank. The resource I use only lists the Top #30 shows.

Good Times actually was below #50 in the ratings in 1977-78. According to Rick Mitz's Great TV Sitcom book it rated #53. Quite a plunge from #26 the season before. I don't know what the rating was for the final season.

That probably was becuase there was no florida or james on the show-just the kids and janet jackson-i'm surprised it wasn't 73
