I think it was pretty sweet and it deserved a topic of its own...did anyone else see it?...well I missed it yesterday cuz I thought they lost but my brother woke me up this morning when the game was replaying and we watched it..it was pretty sweet...then my friend Imed me and was like "i went to sleep when they were losing and I woke up and they won!!!"

I saw it. It was pretty cool considering that most of the time that anything happened like that, they were the team that lost.

Yea, Well I didnt watch it but I was reading PBP online about it at Yahoo... Hoping that Boston Would win so that Mariners could take 1st In Wildcard... and man what a comeback...

I actually stuck with the Sox for most of that game, except for one time when I walked away in disgust. I saw Johnny's homer. Man, it was awesome. Rey Sanchez had a really key hit too. What a great game.

Did you know about this...

The Red Sox would like Johnny Damon to undergo surgery to repair the cartilage damage in his right knee as soon as the season ends, the Boston Herald reported Aug. 29. Damon, however, isn't ready to make that decision yet. "I've got to see what I've got going on in there but I'm not open to (surgery) right now," Damon told the newspaper. "I figure there's no reason to cut me up if we don't have to." Since hurting his knee on July 18, Damon is hitting only .255 (36-141) with five stolen bases, according to the Herald. "We highly recommend it for when we finish playing baseball," manager Grady Little said. "But the idea of surgery is in his court."

I had no clue. It didn't seem like he had a knee problem to me. :shrugs:
