Where are all the WKRP fans?

I read this board somewhat often... I've never posted on it before but I found some of the posts interesting.
So yeah, this post is kinda pointless, but I'm here!

I WANT MORE PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR WKRP IN CINCINNATI
ON THE "TV SHOWS ON DVD" WEBSITE.
THATS ONLY WAY FOX WILL RELEASE ALL 90 EPISODES ON
DVD UNCUT WITH ORIGINAL MUSIC.

APPLEI is absolutely right.

People have to vote.

The thing that kills me is if you go to jumptheshark.com, there are an incredible amount of people (well, more than you'd think from seeing this board latley) who love WKRP.

SO, next to WKRP making the top 10 on tvshowsondvd.com, the best thing we can hope for is a WKRP 25th anniversary tribute.
I think that will get the ball rolling.

It deserves that at the very least.

I *love* WKRP. I'm lucky because it's on almost every day here in Canada - I understand it's not being run in the US anymore.

I really hope one day they release the uncut episodes on DVD. If enough people harass them maybe they'll realize there's a market out there for it.

You are lucky to have it on almost everday, as it isn't airing at all here in the U.S.

They cannot release it on DVD until they get the music rights for the episodes. Sometimes I think I would just take the butchered music changes over nothing at all -if they had the episodes in their entirety.

i agree only a few episodes were ruined by the music changes

pilot part one(all of the rock music replaced)
pilot part two(old time rock and roll replaced)
hold up(some dialogue replaced)
fish story(all music replaced)
americanization of ivan(the hardest hit!)

most of the time the music changes were subtle and
don't effect the episode too much.
