Tadpole?

Has anyone here seen it? I saw it the day of its release in NYC. It was better than I had anticipated and Bebe completely stole the movie (as I knew she would)! The whole cast was great, though. I thought I would be completely disgusted with the Oscar/Diane affair, but it was done in good taste.

I was just curious as to see where others stood on the topic. It's a very controversial one. For those of you who don't know, Diane, a 40 year old woman, sleeps with her best friend's step son, who is 15. Oscar, the fifteen year old, is played by 23-year old Aaron Stanford, so Bebe wasn't fooling around with a minor on the set. No worries. LOL!

It's still in this one small, cheap theatre here and my mom is taking me to see it *big grin* I don't know when, but sometime this week.

I wonder if it's playing in the Boston area. As for where I stand on the topic... A 40-year old and a 15-year old is illegal--it's statutory rape, so I'm against it. To do that with your best friend's step-son makes it even worse from an ethical standpoint.
I'm not against dating younger people either. If a 40 year-old wants to date an 18-year old, then it's their business.
The movie does sound interesting.
