Who's seen this movie/read the book? I've seen the movie three times and am almost through with the book. I'm having the damnedest time finding Little Alters Everywhere, and I'm gonna have to end up ordering it. Has any read the prequel? I absolutely adore this story! I've never felt so connected to character as I do Vivi. Anyone who knows me that has seen the movie says her personality is identical to mine. It was truly frightening to watch the first time, and so touchy emotionally speaking. I was in tears through most of the movie. LOL

I went in seeing it thinking it would be a cute "chick flick" but its really anything but. I have to say I'm enjoying the book more due to the fact it just explains more side stories, and you get a better understanding of the characters involved. Had I read the book first, I don't think I would have cast Sandra Bullock in my mind as Sidda... though she did an admirable job with the role.

I can't wait until it's released on DVD! It's definitely my favorite movie.

Since I'm an Ellen Burstyn fan (obviously) I went and saw the movie. Now I've seen it *counts* 9 times. I started to read the book but I never did finish it.

I saw it 3 times, would have seen it 4 except that it left theatres. I liked Caro the best, although Vivi and Teensy were awesome too. I didn't like Necie or Sidda too much, even tho Necie was funny. Sidda just annoyed me, cos she was Sandra Bullock.

Teensy was definitely my second fave. I did enjoy Caro and Necie, but Vivi and Teensy were definitely the best. Sidda annoyed me as well, but there would have been no movie without her! LOL
