You know when the cosby show starts they show the opening credits....

Which opening did you like best. If you know the one u like best and u don't know what to call it, just say what season!

1984 Season One: The Van (Sabrina Lebeauf is uncredited in this season and Phliycia Rashad is credited as Phylicia Ayers-Allen)

1985 Season Two: First Dancing One (First appearance as Phliycia Rashad)(Instead of Phliycia Ayers-Allen)(and Sabrian Lebeauf)

1986 Season Three: Second Dancing One (Ragae)

1987 Season Four: Third Dancing One (weeeeeeeeeeee at the end)(First Appearance by Geoffrey Owens)

1988 Season Five: Tropical

1989-1991 Seasons Six and Seven: Saxaphone playing Lively Music (First appearances by Joseph C. Phillips and Raven Symone, and Erika Alexander)

Season Eight: 1991-1992 Dancing in a childlike city painting. (Joseph C. Phillips and Lisa Bonet are uncredited and aren't in the show anymore.)

My favorite top three are this:

1. Seasons Six and Seven
2. Tropical
3. Season eight

Writing all of that out wasn't necessary...but to answer your question, I liked season 6&7.

My favorite was the one used for 6 & 7.. The 2nd season would prolly be next in line..

I agree with the Apollo Theater Seasons 6-7

I liked all of the dancing openings except for the tropical one.

I liked the Tropical one the best.... It was so theatrical....and so much different than all the other openers.

The Tropical!! Also..I like the dancing one where theyre all in blck...but DEF. the tropical one!

I liked the Apollo theatre one the best because everybody was credited for that one including Denise and Martin. The season 8 one was good also because it had a more modern sound to it.

2nd season (that is also my favorite season to.)
The one for the final show ever made
I also liked how they did it at the opening of the Cosby Show Reunion A Look back.

I like any opening in which all five of the kids are credited,
especially season Six, with the husbands and stepdaughter.

The Apollo Theater one, I Love that shiny Black Marble Floor, it was shiny and smooth.

Opening 6 (Apollo Theater) is my fave too! Opening 1 was cute. I would liked them to keep that one for another season or so, if it hadn't been for Sondra (Sabrina LeBeauf) having been added, so she had to be included in the credits as a regular. Openings 2,3 and 4 were too similar. Compared to later seasons, it seems like there was a major lack of imagination going on there. But I understand the change between seasons 3 and 4. Elvin had to be added into the credits as a regular, and I like Bobby McFerrin's song. But I would have prefered a little more imagination. I mean, I don't like opening 5 that much, but it was original and different from the previous three openings. And opening 6 is, of course, my fave! Season 7/8, the mural opening, is rather cool, even though I haven't made up my mind yet about if I like the music or not.
