Definitely the most annoying "flaw" I find in Seinfeld occurs in the car dealership episode where Jerry goes to Puddy for a good deal on buying a car.
Throughout the episode, George is hungry and cannot seem to get his hands on food. He tries getting a Twix from a vending machine at the dealership but it gets stuck (and there is only one more behind it). So he goes to ask Jerry for some more money, but when he returns both of the Twix bars are gone from the vending machine, and George realizes that a mechanic who works there must have used the machine and gotten an extra Twix. At this point George is very frustrated because he is absolutely starving. The mechanic denies that he ate a Twix, saying it was a 5th Avenue bar.
Later, George makes a "candy line-up" in order to prove that the mechanic does not know his candy bars. However, all the employees at the dealership end up eating the bars. George gets upset and says that it was a setup and that ALL the bars in the line-up were Twix bars.
First of all, WHERE did George get all those Twix from if there were none left in the machine? And even if he did somehow manage to go somewhere and buy Twix, WHY in the world did he not EAT them?? He kept complaining about being so hungry and even got mad that everyone else ate the candy line-up, but he didn't even care enough to eat the chocolate bars he did find in the first place.
Now this is a very funny episode with great acting, but did anyone else notice this strange error? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts!
Thanks for reading! :)
