Did anyone catch the TVography of Jackie Gleason the other night?
Outstanding! Gleason was truly a genius.
I can't believe how hard that guy worked. How many shows did he do during his TV career?

Hopefully they'll rerun it , so catch it if you can...

That was an excellent biography!

It was sad to see JUST how lonely the man was!

And hard to work with? He musta had the biggest ego in the business!

And didja catch what was written on the chair he used on the set...'The Great One'!

But as pompous as he was...he STILL was a 'legend'!

I wish TV LAnd would air some episodes from his variety shows. I remember watching reruns of "The Jackie Gleason Show" on one of the local channels when I was a kid, and I always enjoyed them.
As much as I love him as Ralph Kramden, it wold be nice if they showed his other shows, which really showcased his versatility..

We only caught a brief glimpse of 'Crazy Guggenheim'...one of the more 'colorful' characters on the show!
