at least you get a supply list before school. i go school shopping the last week of summer and always end up getting things the teachers don't want. i get single subject notebooks and they want 5 subject ones. it's so annoying...

That's why you don't buy your supplies until after school starts. In Highschool there are no supply lists. Just go to class with an old notebook and pen, and they tell you what they want. ;)

Yes, a month, a month, I'm sorry. If I was going back a week from today I'd go jump off a roof or something. My brain is so fried it's sad. I'm worse than usual. I've been attempting to answer essay questions all day and haven't gotten one answered and I have to read 'Moby' sometime within the next two weeks. Where did my summer go again?

That would irritate me too. I would do the same thing that you did. I bought the pens and pencils and white out and all those other goodies, so I would always go ahead and get everything I think I would need. Of course, I would always have to go back and get computer disks or something like that.

I think students have to go back around August 4th or something here. Thank God, I don't have to go back.

I want to know if this is just me, or if this involves everybody going back to school. Whenever you see one of those 'Back to School Sales' would you immediately get in a pissy mood? I would. It would just spoil the rest of my summer when I saw one of those signs or newspapers that seemed to be throwing it in my face that school was about to start back up. Just wondering if I was the only one that turned moody.

Whenever I see things like that I get in a depressed mood and moan and groan about it for a while.

The weird thing is though, when I go and buy my school supplies and what not I'm in a good mood happy I'm getting back into the swing of things and determined this will be an awesome year and I'll make great grades and even better friends...of course about a week into the swing of things I'm ready for fall break...

yeah, but the "back to school" sale at target is before school starts it ends like a couple of days before it starts since all the schools around here start the same time. and my mom'll get mad if i don't buy it during the sale. lol. so i just take, like you said, a notebook and a pen. and then return the stuff i bought, lol. it's tradition! :D

School starts on August 28th. Last yr it started on August 29th, every year we go back a day earlier, I sware!!! I`m going into 10th grade. My years at Hanover (aka Hangover) High are going so fast. I can`t believe I`ll be going to college in a few yrs!!!

theres stuff growing in my back pack, so I am going get a new one so im excited

:lol: That's like the worst thing--cleaning out my bookbag and locker. Everything in it is all moldy and who knows how old. It's just disgusting...not a fun experience. I'm always amazed at what I find in them.

I'm not exactly anti-school, but I don't want to go back to school yet because most of the teachers @ mine don't teach! Last year about killed me because it was sooo boring, I know school is supposed to be, but I never feel challenged or anything. I'm glad my school is easy though. I think we go back Aug. 26 & I'll be a senior. I HATE going back to school in summer beause my school doesn't have air conditioning because the county is too cheap!!! It gets so freakin' hot you can't stand it! :mad:
