i have every single episode from every season. even the rare holiday episodes and all the ones that disney doesn't show. i am the original seller for these tapes on ebay, there have been several people who have copied my tapes and tried to sell them for cheaper, but as they copy them, the quality goes down. please let me know if you are interested. my email is pluckydks@aol.com

It costs a lot of money and takes a long time to ship. I bought the tapes in August. It's now January, and I still don't have the tapes. That's $160 I could have spent on an honest seller. :wave:

Does the seller answer his/her emails? If not and since you still haven't gotten your tapes, try to file a mail fraud case.

I wouldn't buy anything from anybody on the site that has just posted their first post and you really don't know them all that well. If I bought something from someone that has been here for over a year and I know they are quite dependable, then I might buy something from them. Just be very cautious around the new posters. Some might be honest and others might be scammers.

plucky for some reason i still havent recieved my tapes from you. and i should have recieved them in early october. i have emailed you alot about them and i get no reply and when your online i try to talk to you but you sign off. so it looks like your just out to rip people off. i wouldnt recomend anyone dealing with plucky just buy them through ebay. this is all honest to god truth.

oh ok. how come you never responded to my emails about the tapes? whats the tracking number for the tapes? b/c i never recieved anything from you. part of this is my own fault for sending you the money. i should have bought them off ebay. u said you hadnt sold any tapes since may well the does sound right b/c i sent you money for the tapes in early october. nice screw job though. i wouldnt trust pluckydks for all of you who are want bmw tapes just get them off ebay.

This goes for anybody that has been screwed by anybody with a trade on this board. If you sent money and you haven't gotten your tapes to this day, you need to report it to TJ. TJ will more than likely ban the person ripping people off. We used to have this big time screwer on the boards that loved to screw a few people with tape trading, change his name and screw some more people. TJ finally had to ban him.

If someone sent me $160 for tapes you can bed I'd VOLUNTARILY give them insurance and/or delivery confirmation even if they didnt' ask for it or did not want it. That's a LOT of money.

I agree. It's for the protection of BOTH parties. The sender has to provide a track number so he can't claim he shipped if he didn't. The receiver has to sign for it and can't claim he didn't receive it if he did. Delivery confirmation is only, what, 35 cents? Either party has a good reason to spring for this safety feature, whether it be to protect their money or reputation as a seller. The explanations (excuses?) listed in this thread sound shady to me, but that's just my opinion. Don't expect someone to take responsibility for your money if they won't even take responsibility for their own email account. Of course the THREE people who've already been jerked couldn't have known that beforehand, but it can serve as a red flag from here on. As for the quality on ebay, whether or not they're a copy of the original set, I'd think most people could survive the loss of one generation since at least they'd RECEIVE THE TAPES.
